Repairing Water Ingress in the Rear Door Panel

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

The tools required for this operation are: a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a T25 Torx key, and a spatula. Remove the handle cover and unscrew the retaining screws. Unscrew all the screws of the panel and, using the spatula, gently remove the panel along the edges, pulling it upwards with care. Disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, taking care not to damage them. Using a silicone syringe, fill the gaps causing the ingress. Refit the new panel, starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Refit the screws.
