How do you replace the window lifter of the Smart car?

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Checks and maintenance

To replace the window regulator of the Smart car, you need to loosen the screws that secure the panel located on the outside of the door: once this panel has been removed, you will be able to locate the screws that secure the window regulator mechanism inside its housing. Once the fixing screws of the mechanism have been loosened, you can remove it completely and insert the new one; after the installation is complete, you can check that everything is working correctly by covering everything again with the panel.
