Today's instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the external rearview mirror of the Smart Fortwo. First, we open the front door and start removing the plastic cover located behind the mirror; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the mirror to remove it, pulling it out together with the manual adjustment control, as shown in the video. At this point, if necessary, we replace the mirror with the new one, making the necessary modifications for the installation of the electric mirrors; finally, we reassemble the rear plastic cover.
