Is the mirror damaged? The mirror is mounted inside a mirror unit on a Smart Fortwo? Here’s how to remove it from above the mirror. Use a plastic lever to pry off the trim of the mirror and the damaged mirror. Once the mirror is removed, disconnect the power connectors that operate the mirror from the car door. Fit the new mirror inside the mirror unit (connect the power connectors). Use the control buttons to adjust the mirror (adjust the mirror from inside the vehicle).
