In this video, we see how to change the front bulbs of a Smart Fortwo 451: as the youtuber also shows us, when working around the bulbs, we always use disposable gloves, because touching the bulbs with bare hands means at least halving their lifespan. Even though changing the bulb can be done on a workbench, it is not necessary to remove the headlight assembly from the car, as we can easily do it with the headlight still mounted. We remove the dust cap from the bulb we want to replace, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the metal clip, and remove the bulb. We replace it with a new H7 bulb and then put the spring and connector back in place. We put the cap back on and we're done.
