Where are the fuses located in the Smart Forfour?

Model: Smart Forfour W454, MK 1 - Years 2004-2006

All the fuses of the Smart Forfour can be found inside the only fuse box that will be present inside the vehicle: this will be located in the interior of the cabin, in the dashboard area that is located at the bottom left of the steering column. To access this box, you will need to remove the corresponding plastic protection panel; inside it, you will find the fuses that are responsible for the operation of the instrument panel, low beam headlights, interior lights, etc. Furthermore, each fuse is marked with its identifying code and corresponding amperage.

Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it.
