How to Reset the Service Light on a Smart 450

Although the video title indicates many models, what is shown is the reset of a 450 version: insert the key into the ignition and turn on all the lights. Press the left button on the instrument panel twice, turn off the car, and switch the key to the "off" position.

Keep the left button pressed on the instrument panel, then without releasing the button, turn the key to the "ON" position. Continue holding the left button until you see the new countdown for the next service (expressed in miles and days) appear on the display.

At this point, you can release it. Turn off and restart the car to verify.
