How to Open the Bonnet of a Smart Fortwo

Is it time to service your Smart? To top up fluids, you need to open the bonnet. Start by opening the front bonnet, pulling the plastic levers (located at the sides of the front grille) towards the centre of the grille. Once the catches at the front are released, the bonnet will drop down. The video shows how to proceed. Once the front bonnet is open, perform maintenance on your vehicle. To reassemble the bonnet, slide the plastic cover back into place at the front. Finally, close the bonnet release levers with your hands.
