How to Remove the Radio from a Smart ForTwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your Smart ForTwo. Start by unclipping and moving the button panel located below the radio. This will reveal the screw that secures the radio frame. Next, unscrew and remove this screw, then remove the frame itself to expose the screws that hold the radio in place. At this point, unscrew and remove these screws, then pull the radio from its housing. Once this step is complete, disconnect the rear connectors, and the removal will be correctly finished.
