How to Dismantle the Actuator on the Smart Fortwo 451

If you want to carry out a revision of the gearbox actuator on your vehicle, refer to the instructions below and also use the images from the video. The actuator is located on the gearbox on the left side when looking at the rear of the car. To dismantle it, you will need a socket spanner to unscrew the three securing bolts and then disconnect the electrical connector. Next, clean and degrease the actuator by dismantling the joint with a degreasing and lubricating fluid. After this process, you can reassemble everything.
