Replacing the air filter on the Smart is really simple and can be done by anyone without any problems. Before you start, remember to keep the engine off for the entire duration of the operation and only proceed once the engine has cooled down sufficiently.

First, lift the front bonnet and locate the filter box situated in the top left corner. Unscrew the screws present and remove the plastic cover.

Just below is the filter. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Finally, correctly reposition the cover and screw the screws back in.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Renault Espace

The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob of the manual gearbox on the Renault Espace. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the small upper cover of the knob; to remove it, simply pull the gear knob upwards with force to detach it from the lever, as shown in the video.
