How do I reset the service light on the Smart?

To reset the service warning light on a Smart 450 it is necessary to get into the car and close the doors. Turn the key to the "on" position. Press the selection system button repeatedly until the menu highlights the word "trip" in the multifunction display. Press the system selection button until the km missing from the coupon are shown. Press and hold the phone call acceptance button within one second and also hold the "ok" button for 5 seconds. Press the scroll button until "assyst plus" is highlighted and then "full service" and confirm with the "ok" button. Return with the button repeatedly until you exit the menu. Turn off the ignition and start the engine to check that the warning light is off.
