How to replace the key battery of a Smart Forfour

Model: Smart Forfour MK 1, W454 - Years 2004-2006
Part: Key

To replace the battery in the key of a Smart Forfour car, first of all you need to have a small screwdriver with a star tip, a small screwdriver with a flat tip and the correct model of the battery to be replaced, i.e. flat type CR 2016 3V. We take the key and unscrew the small screw on the back of the same; insert the tip of the flat-tip screwdriver into the edge of the key body and lever it up to open it. At this point we extract the exhausted battery and proceed to replace it and then close the body by fixing the screw removed initially.

How to replace the engine air filter on a Ford Fiesta? Follow this guide. Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a screwdriver, undo the soundproofing panel (where the air filter is located), disconnect the engine air intake hose and the metal clip pin. Remove the panel with the air filter box from the vehicle body, then extract the worn air filter and insert a new one, ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the box.
