Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Transmission

In this video, we can see where the gearbox actuator is located in the Smart ForTwo and how to proceed in case we need to replace it, a very simple operation. As shown, the actuator is located in the lower area of the vehicle, right on the gearbox casing, and is accessible by going under the engine compartment. To remove it, we first lift the rear side of the vehicle, then locate and disconnect the indicated connector. Next, we unscrew the two fixing bolts with an E10 wrench, separate the actuator from the support, and install the replacement if necessary.

How to Install Roof Bars on a Fiat 500L

Learn how to fit universal roof bars on a Fiat 500L. These bars are used on vehicles with or without roof rails. Assemble the roof bar kit (as shown in the video) with bars adjusted to the width of the vehicle (measure with a tape measure). Position the brackets at both ends of the doors on the vehicle's original roof rails. Once the anchoring bracket width is set, tighten the bolts with a butterfly nut (if a lock is present) until fully secured to the roof rails. Fit safety caps on both sides.
