Regularly performing routine maintenance means keeping the engine in excellent condition; let's see how to replace the transmission oil on the Smart Fortwo. First, we lift the vehicle and locate the oil drain plug on the gearbox; we unscrew it and let the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the fill plug and refill with the new transmission oil, using the recommended grade indicated in the owner's manual, pouring the correct amount.
