Air filter replacement for the Smart 453

To replace the air filter that feeds the engine of the Smart 453, open the rear hatch, unscrew the six screws that secure the trunk floor with a Torx 50 key and remove it. We will find the filter box on the driver's side, loosen the clamp of the inlet pipe with a flat-blade screwdriver and remove it, using a screwdriver with a Torx 8 tip unscrew the two screws that lock the filter box and remove it. Remove the old filter element, clean the compartment from any dirt and insert a new filter. Close the cover and lock it, insert the pipe and tighten the clamp, put back the floor by locking it with its screws.
