Let's see in this short and simple guide how to disassemble and replace the Subaru Forester coolant temperature thermostat. First of all we lift the car and begin to disconnect the coolant hose, letting it drain into a container; then we go to unscrew the screws of the thermostat to remove it, disconnecting the tube from it. At this point we are going to install the new thermostat, connecting the piping; finally we open the bonnet and unscrew the filler cap to pour the new radiator fluid!
