How to replace the battery in a Subaru Forester.

Model: Subaru Forester SH, MK 3 - Years 2008-2011
Part: Battery

This guide will show us how to replace the battery in a Subaru Forester. We start by unscrewing the clamp with a 10mm wrench; we also unscrew, with the same key, the plastic support. In the same way we remove the positive pole clamp. Still using the 10mm wrench, unscrew the two screws of the block that holds the battery in place and remove the hooks. At this point we will be able to remove the battery cover, simply by pulling it off. Now remove the battery and replace it with the new one. We will now be able to reinsert the cover and the block. Finally, we hang up the clamps, starting with the positive and ending with the negative.

How to Remove the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

How to replace the gear knob on an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). Grip the knob with both hands and pull it upwards (with a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the gear stick. For installation: fit the new gaiter and position it on the centre tunnel, take the new knob and push it onto the stick, tightening it until fully threaded. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
