If you want to attempt to replace the battery on this car model yourself, the description provided below outlines the various steps to safely replace the battery, and you can also refer to the tutorial video. Once you lift the bonnet, you will find the battery on the left side.

First, remove the upper mounting plate by unscrewing the nuts. Then, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.

Pull the battery out of the engine bay and replace it with the new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal. Finally, reposition the mounting plate and secure the corresponding nuts.
