How to Replace the Battery of the Subaru Forester

To replace the battery of the Subaru Forester, start by opening the bonnet. Remove the cover for the positive terminal of the battery. Using a 10mm spanner, loosen the nut on the negative terminal and move it aside. With the same spanner, loosen the nut on the positive terminal and move it aside. Using a 10mm socket, remove the two nuts securing the battery bracket and take it out. Once the bracket is removed, place the cap of the positive terminal of the new battery onto the old one, remove the old battery from the car, and install the new battery. Position the new battery, replace the side cover (if it was removed), reposition the battery bracket by tightening the two nuts with a 10mm socket, reconnect the positive terminal to the battery by tightening the nut with a 10mm spanner, and do the same with the negative terminal. Finally, replace the cover of the positive terminal and close the bonnet. Now you can test the new battery and dispose of the old one.
