Reset the Subaru Ascent radio using three buttons located on the radio itself: power, tune, and cd eject. Press these buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds. Release them when the radio starts resetting and it reboots. When should you perform this procedure? Whenever the radio does not function as it should. Some examples of issues that can be resolved with this reset include a frozen screen (stuck on one display), a non-responsive touch screen, and other software errors.
