This guide describes how to replace the air filter on a Suzuki GSX R1000 K8. Obtain the Suzuki air filter 13780-41G00. Position the motorcycle on its side stand with the front wheel straight. Remove the passenger seat. Using a ratchet and a 10mm socket, remove the fixing screw located at the front of the tank fairing. Remove the two side Allen screws from the seat and slide it towards the rear. Lift the tank fairing and place a support rod underneath. Use a cross-head screwdriver to remove the screws on the air box cover. Disconnect the rubber hose using pliers. Don’t forget to also remove the screw located in the centre of the air box cover. Extract the filter and install the new filter. Reassemble everything as per disassembly.
