This guide describes how to replace the engine oil and filter on a Suzuki RMZ250 4-stroke. Obtain 2 litres of Motul 5100 SAE 10W40 and a HIFLO HF207 filter. Position the bike on a centre stand. Place a container for the used oil underneath the engine. Using a ratchet and a 14 mm socket, remove the oil drain plug located under the engine and allow all the oil to drain out. With the ratchet, remove the plug on the left side of the engine, at the bottom, near the sprocket. Pull out the plug to let more oil escape. Clean the plug thoroughly. Using a ratchet and a 10 mm socket, remove the oil filter cover located on the right side, above the casing. Remove the old filter and replace it with the new one. Open the oil filler neck located on the left side of the casing. Pour in 1,100 cc of oil.
