In order to replace the engine oil of the Suzuki V-Strom 650 you have to loosen the oil tank drain plug, placing a container under it to collect the used oil. When all the oil has flowed out, it will be necessary to close the cap so that it can be topped up: the filling hole is located on the right side of the bike. It will be necessary to use a funnel to insert the right amount of oil inside; furthermore, it will be necessary to remove the old oil filter which is in the same position, so that it can be replaced with a new one.

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
