To replace the variator on a Sym Fiddle, you need to open the transmission cover, located near the rear wheel on the left side of the scooter. Once this is loosened, remove the cover to unscrew the central pin nut of the variator. After it is freed from the drive belt, it can be completely removed, allowing you to insert a new one. This should be secured using the appropriate pin, and the drive belt should be fitted around it, covering everything with the transmission cover.

How to Check the Coolant Level in a Yamaha Xmax
