How to Program a Key for the Toyota Avalon?

First, put the car in the mode that allows you to program a new key by following the procedure shown in the video. Open the driver’s door and then insert and remove the key from the ignition cylinder twice in a row without turning it. Immediately after, open and close the driver’s door twice (which you had left open before). Insert and remove the key again and open and close the door two more times in succession. Now insert the key, close the door, turn the key to the ON position, then back to OFF and remove it. Take the remote you want to program and press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about one or two seconds, release them, and then press only the lock button. This way, you have programmed the remote for the new key.
