Position the motorcycle on a side stand, remove the plastic filler cap; unscrew the oil sump guard, and unscrew the bolt that secures the oil sump at the bottom of the bike (drain the fluid into a container). Use a strap wrench to unscrew the oil filter. Remove the cartridge oil filter and fit a new one after cleaning the area (check the seal around the metal cap). Refill the new oil into the engine and close with the plastic cap.
