Descriptive guide for changing the engine oil, oil filter of a Triumph Bonneville T100 / T120 from 2009 to 2015. Get 4LT of Castrol Power1 sae 10w40 oil, HIFLO HF204 oil filter. Place the motorcycle on the side stand. Start the engine, allow the engine to reach temperature and stop. Place a container for the recovery of the oil to be disposed of under the engine. Unscrew the oil drain plug located under the engine with a ratchet and a 17mm socket. Let the oil drain and carefully clean the cap. Unscrew the oil filter located under the rear engine with a socket wrench. Lubricate the gasket of the new oil filter and screw on first with your hands and then tighten one turn with the wrench. Screw in the oil drain plug. Open the oil filler neck located on the right side crankcase. Pour 3LT of oil and run for a minute, then turn off. Check the oil level through the inspection hole located under the crankcase (the manufacturer declares with the 3.5LT oil filter).

How do you change the Piaggio MP3 engine oil?

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
