Start the engine to warm up the circulating oil, making it less viscous for easier draining. For the same reason, immediately unscrew the cap from which you will eventually refill the oil: this allows air to flow in and aids in creating a vacuum. Only then unscrew the bolt underneath and collect the used oil in a container (dispose of it properly). In the meantime, replace the oil filter: simply unscrew it and screw on the new one, after lubricating it (especially the O-ring). Fill with new lubricant and you're done.
