Unscrew the two small lower and side screws that secure the headlamp. Disconnect the connector by pressing on it, not pulling the wires. At this point, you will have the headlamp in hand and can work in a more favourable position, such as on a workbench. Remove the rubber protective cover located at the bottom of the headlamp, open the metal retaining lever, and simply pull out the old bulb. Insert the new bulb you purchased, ensuring it is seated correctly, and reassemble everything in reverse order: metal retaining lever, rubber cover, connector, and headlamp securing screws.
