Oil change on Triumph Tiger 1200 XC

Run the engine for a few minutes to make the lubricant less dense before draining. For this motorcycle model it is recommended to use 10W-40 synthetic oil. The bolt that acts as a plug to the drain hole is obviously located under the bike and under the engine compartment, in a central position and a little hidden in the stone guard, but easily accessible from the hole of the same. Unscrew it and let the used oil drain by collecting it in a tray (dispose of it correctly). Tighten the drain screw and load the same amount of lubricant from the filling hole, as shown in the video.

How to change the engine oil of Derbi Fds

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
