To replace the air filter, remove the seat to access the screws securing the fuel tank. Before removing the tank, unscrew the bolts fixing the side panels around it. Now, you can lift the tank after disconnecting the hoses and access the underlying components: here is the air filter box, which must be opened to remove the filter inside. Once the new filter is installed, refit all the removed components.
