How do you change the engine oil on a Triumph Street Twin?

In order to change the engine oil of the Triumph Street Twin, you need to unscrew the drain plug located in the lower central part of the bike: by unscrewing this plug it will be possible to drain all the oil present inside the tank. Once the oil has escaped, you can remove the oil filter which is located next to the breather. By removing this filter it will be possible to replace it with a new spare part; therefore it will now be possible to insert the new piece of oil through the appropriate vent located in the upper part of the tank to the right of the motorcycle.

Let's find out below the instructions on how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Derbi Fds. First of all, we put the stand on our bike and start to drain the engine oil, unscrewing the vent bolt that we find under the engine; let the old oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap and carry out the new top up; we use the oil with the right characteristics, finally checking the oil level using the dipstick!
