Model: Triumph Tiger 900
To change the oil on the Triumph Tiger 900, follow these steps. First, make sure the engine is warm but not too hot. Lift the bike on a center or side stand to make it stable. Locate the oil drain plug on the engine crankcase, usually located on the lower side of the engine. Place an oil collection container under the drain plug and unscrew the plug to drain the used oil. Once the oil is completely drained, remove and replace the oil filter. Make sure to lubricate the seal ring of the new filter before installing it. Screw the oil drain plug back in and make sure it is securely tightened. Next, locate the oil fill plug on the engine and remove it. Fill the engine with new motor oil, using the oil recommended in the owner's manual. Check the oil level using the dipstick and add oil if necessary to reach the correct level. Finally, screw the oil fill plug back in, start the engine and check for any oil leaks. Check the oil level again and add oil if necessary. Once the procedure is complete, dispose of the used oil properly at an authorized recycling center.
