In this video, we see a very general indication on how to replace the rearview mirror: first of all, when performing this operation, it should not be too cold, at least 10 degrees Celsius; otherwise, the sealant may not hold. Mark the point where it should be positioned from the outside, remove any residue of glue from the inside, then clean the glass well from the inside and pass the activating wipe where we intend to attach the new mirror.

The rounded part should always be facing upwards; apply the adhesive and hold it in position for 60 seconds. To ensure that the adhesive solidifies, it is necessary to wait 24 hours before mounting the mirror on the button.

If the position is not correct, it is better to remove it and try with another button: that one is now unusable.
