The procedure for reattaching the rear view mirror on a vehicle (in this case, a van) is the same for all vehicles. First, clean the area of the glass where you need to glue the new bracket, then find the exact point to attach the support, at the central upper part of the windscreen. The adhesive provided with the mirror is often a two-component epoxy resin or a special cyanoacrylate, to be prepared or applied directly to the mounting plate. Apply the adhesive to the plate and press it against the glass at the chosen point for a few minutes. Allow it to dry for the time specified in the adhesive instructions: do not attach the mirror until the base is securely bonded. Only then can you fix the mirror, and you may secure it with a screw. Try to perform the operation at a temperature that is not extreme.
