How to Remove an Interior Rear View Mirror

Model: (Various brands) Various
Part: Rearview mirror

Removing the interior rear view mirror of a vehicle is a very simple and quick operation to carry out independently. To remove it, pull the mirror firmly downwards to detach it from the mount installed on the windscreen. If you wish to remove the mount as well, you will need a trim removal tool, some alcohol, and a microfibre cloth to remove the adhesive. Reinstalling the mirror onto the mount follows the reverse procedure. Mounting the mount is also very simple as you just need to glue it onto the windscreen. Removing the mirror allows for better installation of the Telepass.
