How to Test Fuses Without a Tester

When an electrical component malfunctions, the first check to make is the fuses. To verify the functionality of this component, a tester is usually used, selecting "Ohm" as the unit of measurement and placing the probes on the contacts. If there is continuity and therefore efficiency of the fuse, you will hear a confirming beep. However, if you do not have a tester available, you can alternatively use a 9V battery and a bulb. Connect the negative terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the bulb and use the two positive terminals as probes, placing them on the contacts of the fuse to be checked. If the bulb lights up, the fuse is functional; otherwise, you need to replace it.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
