To replace the panoramic roof, fully lower the sunshade and then remove the trim pieces along the perimeter of the roof panel. At this point, disconnect the operation cables of the mechanism and unscrew the screws that secure the spool inside which the sunshade runs. This will allow you to completely remove the spool from its housing. Now, insert the new spool and secure it with the appropriate screws. This way, you can reconnect the mechanism and cover it with the trim pieces.
