In this video, we see how to exclude the brake pad wear sensor, which many consider a nuisance because it starts giving the warning halfway through the pad's consumption. We need to locate the cable that communicates the wear of the pad, which passes right in the middle of the brake caliper. In the fender, we have the connector box, so we need to remove the caliper and disconnect the sensor. We see that of the two pads, one has a seat where the sensor is housed. We then cut the wires, connect them together, and join them with a clamp. We reconnect the connector in its place, leave the sensor where it is so the system won't signal that it's missing, and now the warning light has disappeared.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
