(Various brands) Various - Video tutorial
Model: (Various brands) Various
In this video, we can see how to restore the transmission of a Ford car with automatic transmission, a quite common issue with this brand. First, we turn on the ignition, put the transmission in neutral, then turn off the ignition and wait for about fifteen to twenty seconds. Then, we put the transmission in "park" position, wait another fifteen/twenty seconds, then turn on the instrument panel again and wait for the usual twenty seconds. We turn off the car and engage the "drive" gear, then turn on the ignition again and the car will emit a sound signal to indicate that we have completed the procedure. To make sure everything is in order, we start the car and reach about 80 mph, gradually increasing the throttle to 25% of its power, then gradually come to a stop. We repeat this process by accelerating first to 50% and then to 100% for relearning.
