First, identify the metal block that will be fixed to the glass. Roughen this side to improve adhesion of the glue; you will need to clean the area of the windscreen with the provided cloth in the kit. Next, apply the glue to the metal block on the side that will adhere to the windscreen. Once the glue has set, you can fit the mirror by sliding the metal block into the guide on the mirror.
