How do you replace the timing chain of the Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the timing chain of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to lift the car so that the right front wheel is not in contact with the ground: this will allow you to remove it from the corresponding hub by loosening the screws that hold it. Once the wheel has been removed, you can also detach the inner fender and loosen the nut that secures the chain tensioner: this can now be removed by reducing the tension of the chain and inserting the new one in its place. The new chain must be tensioned and checked to ensure everything is working properly.
