How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Touran?

On board the Volkswagen Touran, the Service light that appears on the instrument panel can be reset by holding down the button located in the center right of the panel, just below the fuel level indicator. You will need to hold it down while the instrument panel is deactivated and then you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the panel is turned on, you can continue to hold down the button and turn the key. Now you will need to wait until the reset is complete and you can release the button.
