In this video we will see how to replace the mirror covers of the Volkswagen Golf VI: this is in fact one of the most common modifications on this car. The first thing to do is to remove the glass/mirror, giving it a strong pull: there are electrical wires to disconnect behind it. Behind it we will find two tabs that we will snap from the inside, using a plastic spatula. We also disconnect an electrical connector here. Now we will have purchased new covers, or we may have decided to wrap the existing ones with specific polyurethane for this service. Align the two tabs and reinsert them inside. Connect the connectors and slide the cover until you hear a "click". Reconnect the mirror wires, which we will push firmly. That's it.
