How to Remove the Steering Tie Rod End on Volkswagen Sharan

Learn how to remove the tie rod end on a Volkswagen Sharan. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for access. Use a socket or air impact wrench to remove the wheel nuts and take the wheel off. Next, start loosening the bolts on the tie rod end with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the tie rod end (as shown in the video) and the stabiliser bar: pull the tie rod end away from the vehicle body by hand. Fit the new steering tie rod end, then tighten it with all the associated bolts. Finally, refit the wheel with the nuts.
