Here’s how to remove the mirror glass from the external mirror on a Volkswagen Tiguan. Using a plastic or rubber lever, pry between the edge of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Apply pressure until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). This operation is delicate as the glass or the mirror itself may break. Replace the damaged piece with a new one and ensure the plastic clips snap into place without breaking the glass.
