Learn how to install an external mirror on a Volkswagen Tiguan. Using a plastic or rubber-coated spatula, pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable); this is a delicate operation as the glass or mirror may break. Press on the locking clips to disconnect the mirror cover, replace the damaged part with a new one. Remove the mirror cap if you need to access the interior.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
