How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf?

In the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Golf, you can completely remove the Service light that appears by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turning it to start the panel. Once the panel is turned on, you can navigate to the menu that appears on the panel to select the "Settings" and then "Service" options. In the next page that appears, you will need to select the "Reset" option: this will remove the light from the instrument panel. The panel can now be turned off by removing the key to complete the reset operation.
