How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Golf?

It is possible to reset the Service light that is displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Golf by holding down the 0.0 button located in the central part of the instrument panel: by continuing to hold down the button, it will be possible to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it to activate the panel. Once the panel is turned on, a confirmation message will appear: you will then need to release the button and press it again to confirm the reset. At the end of the procedure, you can turn off the panel to finish.
